The patient came in requesting cosmetic correction of her front teeth, specifically teeth numbers 2 through 2 in the upper jaw.
In this step, we used a non-invasive technique to show the patient the future shape of her crowns. First, we scanned her upper jaw using a 3D scanner and then designed the new crowns using CAD/CAM technology. This method is non-invasive and does not require any preparation of the patient’s natural teeth. It helps the patient visualize what the final result will look like.
Using ELAB technology, we took photos of the teeth after preparation and polishing, and based on those photos, we selected the exact shade of the teeth and toothstumps.
After cementing the crowns, we polished the edges and made minor adjustments. The patient was extremely satisfied.
