Diagnostics
An integral part of the treatment process, as well as subsequent regular check-ups, is undergoing dental hygiene. Before a surgical procedure – ideally 1 to 2 weeks in advance – this phase is essential to optimize conditions for the procedure itself, such as extraction or implantation. At the same time, it contributes to better healing of the extraction wound and successful integration of the implant.
Placement
Before the procedure, a thorough evaluation of the quality and quantity of the bone into which the implant will be placed is performed. In cases of significant bone tissue deficiency, bone augmentation is necessary. The procedure itself is carried out under local anesthesia, making it painless and comfortable for the patient. After the procedure, in some cases, antibiotics and medication to reduce postoperative swelling may be required.
Prosthetics
After the implant has successfully integrated with the bone, a precise impression of its position is taken. Subsequently, within 10 days, a crown or bridge secured to the implants is fabricated. The crown restoration consists of an abutment and the crown itself. The entire prosthetic structure is screwed directly onto the implant, and if necessary, it can be removed and adjusted at any time according to the patient's individual requirements.
