All-ceramic crowns
Thanks to their undeniable biocompatible and aesthetic properties, ceramic materials offer unique possibilities for dental reconstruction.
Dentistry is undoubtedly one of the most dynamically developing fields in medicine, closely linked to the unstoppable technological advancements of recent years. These very facts provide us, both dentists and patients, with opportunities to achieve the best therapeutic effect and to preserve or restore the most ideal functionality and aesthetics of your teeth.
When do we opt for all-ceramic crowns?
1. In cases of extensive loss of natural hard dental tissues, whether due to decay or mechanical damage to the teeth;
2. After root canal treatment, when the tooth's natural nutrient supply is interrupted and the tooth requires more extensive reconstruction and replacement of lost tissues;
3. Aesthetic reconstructions.
Ceramic crowns
They can be imagined as caps that completely cover pre-prepared teeth. At our clinic, we use the latest technologies to create all-ceramic zirconia and lithium disilicate (EMAX) crowns.
Ceramic fillings
Sometimes, due to the factors mentioned above, there is such a loss of some tooth walls that using a conventional 'white filling' cannot ensure the long-term preservation of the damaged tooth in the dental arch.
In such cases, we recommend all-ceramic fillings, known as 'overlays', which, thanks to their higher mechanical strength and resistance to chewing pressure, can preserve and strengthen the tooth in the mouth much longer than a conventional composite filling. These are made from lithium disilicate (EMAX) ceramic.

All-ceramic crowns in 3 simple steps
Consultation
When planning prosthetic treatment, a detailed examination with an auxiliary X-ray is necessary to assess the condition of the tooth on which the all-ceramic crown will be placed.
Preparation
Using magnification technologies, we prepare the tooth. Subsequently, we scan the prepared tooth using a digital impression to transfer the oral situation as accurately as possible to the dental laboratory, where a computer-controlled process designs and mills your all-ceramic crown. Since we offer all services under one roof, our lab technician Tibor Gyurkovics begins the crown fabrication process immediately after scanning the prepared tooth. We mill the crowns from the aforementioned zirconia or lithium disilicate. Thanks to this digitized procedure, we can eliminate many errors and ensure that your crowns adapt to your other teeth not only aesthetically but also functionally.
Crown delivery
Thanks to having our own HinriMill N4 and HinriMill T5 milling machines at the clinic, we can deliver your crowns within 48 hours, which is a huge advantage. The milling machine itself features a 5-axis milling system, ensuring a meticulously crafted crown that very effectively restores the original situation.
